We are co-organizing the World Social Marketing Conference – Cali 2023

The next World Social Marketing Conference will take place in Cali, Colombia, on 1-3 November 2023. This international event has been held in its previous versions in countries of the Anglo-Saxon Global North. This will be the first time that this global event is held in a country from the Global South, in Latin America. Among the organizations that support the realization of this event are Procolombia, the Cali-Valle Bureau, the Latin American Social Marketing Association (LAMSO), and IMEK Research Center in Marketing & Development.

The great theme of the conference is “Inclusion, equity and equality. Fostering societal transformation through behaviour influence”. On the first day of the event, training will be held, while on the other days there will be research presentations and peer-reviewed cases, panel discussions, and plenary sessions with experts on the topics prioritized by the conference. Among the latter are the construction of peace, health, gender, education, participatory methods, digital media, and others see here.

You can participate in this event in different ways. First, by submitting research and case studies to be presented after international peer review, accepted applications will be part of the event summary book. Second, registering to attend and learn about the experiences of other people and organizations. Stephanie is an architect from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali with a master’s degree in Urban Strategies and Design from the University of Edinburgh. She has professional experience in the design and development of architectural projects of different scales, also developing research projects related to the quality of public spaces in Cali (Colombia) and sustainable construction. She currently works as a consultant and full-time professor at the Faculty of Creation and Habitat of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali.
