Gender violence in Latin America: diverse regional perspectives

BRIEF

This document summarizes the main ideas discussed during the preparation and development of a webinar on gender-based violence in Latin America. The space featured speakers with extensive experience in the subject and participants with knowledge of the different realities of the countries in the region. This summary also seeks to be critical and lead to reflection on how, for example, from a discipline such as social marketing, different voices can be articulated to promote the exchange of knowledge and social change.

Stephanie is an architect from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali with a master’s degree in Urban Strategies and Design from the University of Edinburgh. She has professional experience in the design and development of architectural projects of different scales, also developing research projects related to the quality of public spaces in Cali (Colombia) and sustainable construction. She currently works as a consultant and full-time professor at the Faculty of Creation and Habitat of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali.
